BuycatFinds respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. The short version:
We only collect your email if you subscribe. We do not sell, share, or trade your data with anyone. We do not track you across the web.
What We Collect
Email address. If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. That is the only personal information we collect directly.
What we do NOT collect:
- No browsing or search history
- No personal profiles or accounts
- No payment or financial information
- No location data
- No advertising or tracking cookies
How We Use Your Email
Your email address is used for one purpose: sending you deal alerts and occasional updates about BuycatFinds. Nothing else.
We do not sell your email address. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for any purpose other than our newsletter.
Third Party Services
We use a small number of third party services to operate the site:
Kit (formerly ConvertKit)

hCaptcha

Cloudflare
Hosts our website and provides security. May collect technical data like IP addresses for performance and security purposes. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Affiliate Links
When you click a deal link on BuycatFinds, you are redirected to a retailer's website. That retailer (Amazon, Walmart, Target, and others) may set their own cookies and collect data according to their own privacy policies.
We do not control what data retailers collect after you leave our site. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any retailer you purchase from.
Cookies and Tracking
BuycatFinds does not use advertising or analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any similar tracking service.
Essential technical cookies may be set by Cloudflare (for security) and hCaptcha (for spam protection). These are not used for advertising or tracking purposes.
Data Retention
If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is stored as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your email is removed. You can also contact us to request immediate deletion of your email.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time (link in every email)
- Request to know what data we have about you (it is just your email)
- Request deletion of your email address
- Contact us with any privacy questions
Children's Privacy
BuycatFinds is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their email, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. We will update the effective date at the top.
